Exomitis, Agios Georgios, Perivolos, Santorini 84703, Greece

Aside from taking serene optional boat rides around your stretch of the island's coast and bathing beatifically in the sea, there's rich history to see on Santorini's shores. Six kilometres up the coast sits the archaeological treasure chest of Ancient Thira, replete with temples, mosaic-encrusted houses, a theatre and more from Hellenistic, Roman and Byzantine eras.

Join the crowds 13 kilometres to the southwestern most point of the island for a magnificent sunset at Akrotiri Lighthouse. A little closer, at only 10 kilometres from the hotel, is the fiery Red Beach with dramatic rusty-orange cliffs.
